We started at Mile 0 of the Alaskan Highway Today !!!

We have covered a lot of miles since I wrote last.

We arrived in Banff on July 2nd and after establishing camp we went into town for a late lunch. After a nap (needed as we rise early and stay up until it gets dark, about 10 pm), we went for a ride in the truck to Lake Louise.

On our way back to Banff we encountered an Elk.

On Tuesday, July 3rd, "Bruce's Birthday" we took the Gondola up Sulfur Mountain in Banff. This was a down day (no driving).

It was crazy weather, fog, then rain, then snow.. And they had gotten snow on top of the mountain the night before!

Then on July 4th we headed up 93 N to Jasper through the Canadian Rockies! It was beautiful all the way... we arrived in Jasper at lunch time and decided to stop for lunch..
